Facts magazine

A sourced, searchable collection of short answers, built to be quoted by people and by assistants.

For anyone publishing a catalogue of short, checkable entries: facts, glossary terms, FAQs, field notes, product know-how.

Every entry is a question somebody actually types, a direct answer on the first line, a few supporting paragraphs, and at least one source a reader can open. Category pages, a random entry, an RSS feed, an llms.txt and JSON-LD with the citations wired in. Dark cosmic ground, glass chrome, oversized display type, CSS-only artwork, no images to prepare.

It was the engine behind a facts site I ran for six weeks. The traffic that arrived came from ChatGPT more than from Google, which is the whole point of the answer-first structure: assistants quote the first line and link the page.

The content is one typed array. Adding an entry is one object; the sitemap, the feed, the category pages and the schema all follow.

02 / Make it yours

4 edits

  1. 01Site name, tagline and description in one file
  2. 02Your categories and their blurbs
  3. 03Your entries in the data file, following the six samples
  4. 04Your IndexNow key, when you have one

Or hand the repo to your agent with the sentence “make this my site” and the answers to those 4 questions. The AGENTS.md does the rest.

Where it comes from

Ran as oddtruths.com from September to October 2026, 59 entries, then retired and repackaged.
